EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENT

This option is only open for students who have less than 31 total points (or 36 points, if they have already done their presentation) as of April 22.

Please study the biographies of the scientists that were highlighted throughout the semester in the student presentations. Many of them have or had various connections to each other (went to or worked at the same school, lived in the same city at the same time, or actually worked together). You can use the information in the student presentations on the web as your starting point and do some more research on your own. Find one type of connections and prepare a diagram showing the interconnectedness among a minimum of SIX scientists. Part of the assignment is to figure out the best type of diagram/chart/figure that can represent the connections the most effective/interesting way.

Up to 5 extra points can be earned with this assignment. This is not a collaborative work – plagiarism will not be tolerated.

Deadline to submit papers: May 6, 11.30 am. Late papers will not be accepted.
